CFCN Scholarship
Canadian Families and Corrections Network (CFCN) focuses on families, children, and friends who have someone they care about in jail. Our mission is to build stronger and safer communities by assisting families affected by criminal behaviour, incarceration, and reintegration. The CFCN Scholarship is open to all Canadian students graduating high school, or completing high school equivalency, and attending post-secondary education. They must have an incarcerated parent or caregiver in a federal or provincial correctional institution, now or in the past.
Scholarship Guidelines

Must be completing high school, or high school equivalency, and registered for a post-secondary program.

Must have now, or previously have had, an incarcerated parent or caregiver.

Must complete the Application Form (see below).

Must submit a Letter of Support from a parent, caregiver, or community agency and Proof of Enrollment in a post-secondary school / program by email to board@cfcn-rcafd.org. Send these documents immediately after submitting the Application Form below.

Incomplete applications or applications missing attachments will not be considered.


Scholarship Amount
The current scholarship will be awarded for a maximum of $250.00.
How to Apply
The student must complete and submit the Application Form (see below) to the CFCN Scholarship Fund Application Committee.
Anyone applying for the Scholarship can do so any time during the year. The scholarship is awarded when possible, in either August or December.
